Harlow Fields School and College is an inclusive, vibrant learning environment offering high quality education and care for all, catering for pupils who are designated to have severe, moderate and complex needs including autism and sensory impairment. The school required additional flexible teaching space and an old site which accomodated a disussed swimming pool was allocated for the proposed classrooms. The client required 2 classrooms with washrooms to be constructed. Storm were comissioned to design and build the classrooms which we delivered within the tight timescales and in a live school. The building was designed to consider the requirements of the users and to have minimal carbon footprint and as such it was delivered as a negative carbon building.
