This residential home required expansion to accommodate an additional flat to provide a niche care room which would allow a resident to special need to be self sufficient but still offer the support and care they required. We carried out a full design with planning permission and building control to convert an existing unused double garage into a 1 bedroom flat. We created a walkway through from the existing property to provide easy access for the care staff to access the new unit, we also created a new enclosed garden area for the resident. We installed a new kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and also installed a hoist for staff to assist with the required care of the resident.
