An unused brick built shed historically a pig shed, was designated to be brought into use. The Existing relatively new school required a SEN (Special Educational Needs) provision, the former pig shed although require a major refurb seemd the ideal builing. It was just across the carpark from the school and would provide the ideal building for the intended use. Given its history the building required structural works, damp proofing and partially rebuilding, once this was complete we could begin the tasks of installing power, plumbing, heating and drainage to the building. We externally overhauled the building to include the roof and facade of the building. Internally we created a accessible toilet, reception area and classroom, we also undertook acoustic testing and design to ensure the classroom would meet the end users requirements, we subsequently installed sound baffles and soft furnishing.
